File sync for your own Google Drive
Norvelen is a small utility that copies selected files from a computer to a folder in the Google Drive account of the person who runs it. Nothing more.
How it works
You point Norvelen at the files you want copied and sign in with your Google account. Norvelen then uploads those files into your Drive on the schedule you choose. The files stay in your Drive, under your control, and you can open, move or delete them there at any time.
What it can access
Norvelen requests a single, narrow Google Drive permission — drive.file. That permission lets an application see and manage only the files it has itself created or that you have explicitly opened with it.
- It cannot list, read or download the rest of your Drive.
- It cannot reach your Gmail, Calendar, Contacts or Photos.
- It cannot see files created by any other application.
Your data stays yours. Norvelen has no servers of its own, no accounts to create and no analytics. It runs on your machine, talks to Google Drive directly, and stores nothing anywhere else.
Revoking access
You can withdraw Norvelen's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Files already copied to your Drive stay there; you decide what to do with them.
